2015 - WORDS FROM PST ADAH

RUNNING IN 2015

Keep the tongues in your mouth. Make demands on the movings of the Spirit.
There are workings of miracles. There is a power surge, causing forceful advancement & a breaking forth.
The spotlights of heaven are upon you. It’s a different year, a year of speed, increase, multiplication, sudden surprises everywhere.
Let go of the wheels, move over, the Holy Ghost has taken over. Things will happen so fast, you will literally be saying, “God slow down, slow down please, and let me catch up.”
Explosions of His Almightiness, it’s a different year, it’s not the year 4 the norms, it’s the year of breaking into new grounds, new levels of victory, enjoying great days!
Dance sing & shout 4 the Lord. Has done you well & has done all things well. Glory!!! Hahahahaha!!!
Get drunk in the Holy Ghost. Stay & keep getting drunk in the Holy Ghost & like it has been said to us by His prophet, I see a breaking forth & breaking through in 2015; mighty supply! Stay & keep drunk in the Holy Ghost. Let the words flow forth, let the Spirit of Grace bubble & spring forth, there are new things indeed. See them, rejoice & be glad! God loves you dearly.

GRAET DAYS

Rev Arome E. Adah
I can see great days; glorious days.
I can see days of rejoicing; beautiful days.
I can see days of gathering; days of harvest...HARVEST!!!
Days of great harvest; days of harvest exponentially.
I can see days of men's eyes being on you(me)
and the spotlights being on you(me).
Men are coming from all around
and it will be said as it was said in the days of Jesus,
"All men seek thee", so men will seek you(me).
Great days, great days, great days!
I can see great days ahead of us.
"Days of clapping" saith God,
"Days of dancing, days of festivity, days of celebration."
GLORY!!!!
"Days of celebration, days of beauty for ashes, days of celebration for morning.
For the days of morning are over," saith God.
"the times we are in are times of celebration, times of rejoicing,
times of gathering, times of harvest," saith God.
"times of harvest, times of great harvest, times of the spotlight being on you(me),
times when all men will seek you(me).
Men will seek you(me)because of what God has activated in your(my) life.
People will come from near and far and
will be willing to pay anything to have you(me) come to them".
i see wealth being transferred.
GLORY TO GOD...

This is a prophesy given by our General Overseer, Rev Arome E. Adah. I believe it and decided to make it a post on this blog.
In his book Great Days... He highlighted four things God wants us to know
about great days...
  1.  We fix our eyes on Jesus....(if we base the success of anything we are doing on the work of our hands, we will fail)
  2. No matter what, Keep Rejoicing...
  3. These things will happen by the manifestation of the Spirit
  4. We sow our seeds.

2014 EVENTS @ SGC MAKURDI

2014 EVENTS @ SGC MAKURDI

It is the end of the year and it is the most natural thing to look back over the events and happenings of the year 2014, counting our blessings and giving God thanks for all. At Savannah Grace Chapel Makurdi it has been quite the eventful year. God has been faithful. Check out how sweet our year has been:

·         January
We kicked off the year with a great New Year Service -Notable Overflow and The Lord Is Our Help! Indeed He was our help as we continued with our annual prayer cruise and our very first edition of Savannah Ministries Bible School Volume 1 with a little over 25 people in attendance. And we had instructors come from Headquarters too.

·         February
The month of February saw us moving church venues – from a smaller place to a more spacious hall. Also, we had an unplanned but wonderfully pleasant visit from our dear General Overseer, Reverend Arome Adah. We also had two notable birthdays: Ojoma and Isaac. Beautiful month, I’ll say!

·         March
The month of March saw us moving venues again – to a better venue, of course. We also had our Easter-Thanksgiving Service. It was a great service as we broke bread and gave thanks to God with dancing, celebration, offerings and great rejoicing.

·         April
We had 2 fellowships start up this month: Interdenominational Christian Fellowship at Nigerian French Language Village, Badagry by our brother Isaac Oche, and Savannah Grace Fellowship, Afe Babalola University by our brother and the present co-ordinator, Daniel Obekpa. The Gospel is reaching to the very ends of the earth, Glory to God.

·         May
In the extraordinary month of May, we hosted our Special Sunday Services. It was a wonderful five weeks as we enjoyed diverse ministries and church took a different turn with the Jersey Service, the Newsroom Service and the Red Carpet Service. We enjoyed the ministry of Pastor Segun from Father’s Delight Ministry, Zaria, Wing Commander David Osuh Amuneni and Pastor Mrs Jennifer Tokula from Christ Family Ministries. Yes indeed, church was packed in May and every single person had an experience. Glory!

·         June
Virtuous Ladies! Yes. Our Virtuous Ladies fellowship held her very first Ladies Convention and it was super awesome to say the least. We had ministering to us Mrs Ifejola Opara, and even the brothers were blessed. God is faithful. And of course, our Virtuous Ladies head had her birthday in June as well. God is faithful.

·         July.
The mushy but happy month of July had us holding our Pastor’s Appreciation Day. We packed much appreciation in that one day, not without much emotion and tears, for our dear Pastor, Pastor Adah Igah; an inexplicably huge blessing to us all. We also celebrated his birthday in July. Church office officially opened in July as well. It was simply getting better with the progress of the year.

·         August
Our biggest event for the year, Miracle and Healing Convention Makurdi, took place in the month of August. It was such an explosion. We had with us our General Overseer, Reverend Arome Adah and the President of Gloryland Ministries, Reverend Emma Opara. There were loads of testimonies, our finances shot to the sky and we released our first church bulletin. Great days!

·         October
As we trusted for church planting, we reached our tentacles out to Lafia and hosted Miracle and Healing Convention Lafia. Our General Overseer, Reverend Arome Adah was powerfully present and he declared the church in Lafia open. So, also, Savannah Grace Chapel Lafia happened in October 2014.

·         November
2014 was a year of firsts for us at SGC Makurdi. The fellowship at Afe Babalola University hosted her first meeting, Moments With the King, with Pastor Deji and Minister Ozo Opara from SGC Abuja. It was a mighty meeting that further opened the school to us, both the authorities and the students. God is faithful!
In Makurdi, we also hosted our first concert, The Creed. It was a great concert and a wonderful time in God’s presence as we were blessed by diversities of ministries: dance, song, rap etc.

·         December
December has been super awesome. With the increase in numbers in church, we travelled for Savannah Campmeeting with three buses and a car. Glory. We also got elevated when our Pastor was made Assistant Director, Directorate of Churches, Savannah Ministries Worldwide Incorporated.

We have been having a wonderful time praying since we got back from Campmeeting 2014, which will end temporarily today for the purpose of the holidays, and pick back up on the 5th of January 2015.
2014 has been a great year. The Lord is indeed our Helper and we have seen notable overflow in our finances, in our lives as individuals and as a church, in our businesses, in our gifts etc. God has been faithful and we are a people that choose to remember His goodness to us. He is faithful and we keep our eyes on Him as He keeps taking us through the best seasons, times and places in our lives.
Jesus is Lord.

THE TAKEOVER by Pastor Adah

The story has changed, the tables have turned, the anointing for abundance has rested upon the church and His people are prospering like never before.
Great days, days of abundance are here. Like the days where the healing power of God was the thrust of His body as told us by His generals, so days of abundance are here. The least amongst you will walk in great wealth and increase for the anointing to prosper has rested upon my church. It is the easiest thing in the world to walk in God’s great abundance all by the work of His grace and power. Get the sickles out; it’s time to rake in the harvest for it’s a global manifestation. Rake in the lands, houses, properties, buildings, businesses, schools, orphanages, oil wells, TV stations, satellites etc. Don’t draw back; your sins are forgiven, for the wisdom and power of God has rested upon you and there are mighty manifestations of His goodness to us. Step out in boldness for by the blood, all things are ours. Glory to God!!!

This is not just a prophecy; it’s a word of wisdom particularly even. This is God’s plan for His church in present times.
God never told anyone to do anything that is reasonable. If you can figure it out, plan it out and reason it out, it isn’t God. When God speaks to you, it is always bigger than you. He speaks to us based on His size and His resources, not your size and your resources. God is a God of abundance, and He walks by faith.

Romans 4:17: “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things that be not as though they were.”

God does not speak to describe the situation; He speaks to change and influence the situation to be consistent with what He desires. He saw darkness and called forth light. There are many of you to whom God has been speaking big things, but you need to exit survival mode. This is survival mode: What shall I eat? What shall I drink? What shall I wear? How will I pass my exams? When will I have a car or a phone?Survival mode will keep you in the low life. Your faith will seem stagnant at times because you are always thinking of survival. The Bible says to take no thought for your welfare; God is bigger than and beyond your survival. Worry will not and cannot change your problems, but faith can.

Believe God for eternal things. It is a lot easier to believe God for big things than for small things. You will see big things when you dare them. When you have to do something big, you know that you cannot fret because it is obviously not dependent on you. If you were doing something small, you would think it was something you could achieve by yourself and so you would fret and worry. Rest in faith and trust God to take care of you. Leave the small things alone and trust God for awesome things! It is easier. Let the word of God create new hopes, new pictures, and new expectations. Jesus did not die so you could get a little improvement and a little polish and shine in your life. It is good to have improvement and shine, but you should see beyond that, because Jesus died for more than that. Jesus died for the takeover, and the takeover is more than that.

What is the picture of the takeover you have in your heart? The picture you have as your hope is what your faith will bring to pass.

Hebrews 11:1-2: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it, the elders obtained a good report.”

What do you think about when you hear “Your sins are forgiven?” The gospel must cause a reaction in your spirit. The reaction that the gospel causes in your spirit will determine what your life will be like. If you hear the gospel preached to you with undertones of convenience, your life will be one of convenience. You will never be able to stretch yourself beyond the ordinary. And in order to let God do big things through you, you must stretch yourself beyond the ordinary. Many times, in such situations where you stretch yourself and pit yourself on the line in the name of the Lord, it seems like your life is ended without God. This is not just about one shoe or one shirt. The takeover is not about material things and natural comfort. Comfort comes from the Holy Ghost.

God wants to show Himself strong; He wants to use ordinary people of no natural repute and low background, like you, making giants of you, so that generations to come will write stories about you to inspire the world that faith in God works. It is not about small, cute, reasonable things. Many people will not get saved unless and until you take over; no matter how much you may preach to them. But when they see that thing that God has put in your heart show forth, your life becoming a testimony, they will believe. Jesus is not coming for a broke, busted and disgusted church; He will not come until we have taken over.

Let the projection of your hope and of your faith change. The projection of your faith counts for a lot. Stop painting the small, trivial pictures. The takeover is not just about us having the things we need and the things we want, it’s about pictures painted in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. These things are meaningless in the light of the great things that God has in store; things of eternal value. God wants us to have things, and it is good to have things, but the takeover is greater and more than the things we want and the things we have. The takeover is the schools, the businesses, the ministries, the 7-star universities and orphanages and so forth that God has put in our hearts, and these things must show forth. It is us changing the state of affairs in our communities, our states, our local governments and the nations of the earth. The takeover is us lending to nations. Do not be afraid of this. Your sins are forgiven, and all these things are by faith.

Look beyond the present, look beyond your present circumstances and the things you think you do not have right now. Stop complaining and look into God’s great plan of the takeover.

Someone says, “But these things you have said are impossible.” But I say look again, there are no impossibilities with me, says the Lord. Have you not heard that the price has been paid and the works have been finished? Indeed these things that we have said, they are finished, they are complete, and all that I have done for you in my death, burial and resurrection has been deposited in the name of Jesus and that name belongs to you. So I declare to you in the name of Jesus, rise up with the name and take your companies. Rise up with the name, reach out into your spirit, and draw those things out. For what things know the man except the spirit of man that is in him and no man knows the things of God except the spirit of God, and the Spirit of God is in you. And the Spirit of God searches all things, even the deep things of God; they are in your spirit and the Holy Ghost lives and dwells in you. And as you begin to rise up in faith, building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, the wisdom begins to unfold and come out, and suddenly, you look around you, and that impossibility is a reality in your life.

Your sins are forgiven; all things are possible to you.

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

Jesus paid the price for you to have all things. He paid the price to help you and has given you all things.
1 John 5:4: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.”
“This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” What causes you to overcome in life is faith. Our faith is the victory. Victory is not money or material things. Victory starts first from the spirit, and there is no victory outside of Jesus. Anything outside of Jesus is a form of godliness that denies the power for it is the gospel that is the power. (Romans 1:16).

Faith is the victory!

What then is faith?
Hebrews 11:1:“Now faith is he substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Faith begins from the unseen realm. This means that faith is walking by what you cannot see, but believe in. Sometimes people say, “You’re broke, there’s no money in your pocket and you’re saying you are rich. You’re lying. Just say the truth and be real.” What is the truth? Faith is the evidence of what we cannot see, not of what does not exist. So, there is an exhibit, a proof, that the result, what we desire, is there, but we cannot see it. Glory! Faith is not denial of the problem. The problems may be there, but faith is the evidence of a solution that goes beyond the realm of what is felt or seen. The senses cannot be trusted where faith is involved because what the senses produce is subject to change. Everything in the realm of faith is constant, because it is based on the sacrifice of Jesus that cannot change. This means that faith is the assurance that because of what Jesus has done for us in His death, burial and resurrection, we can and will have all that we desire and demand. This means that every time a believer is in faith, there is an assurance of things that cannot fail. Things in the sense realm are subject to change, but what is obtainable in the faith realm cannot be changed.

Faith is based upon the singular sacrifice of Jesus that has obtained eternal redemption for us. This means that our faith is based on God’s grace.

Hebrews 7:27:“Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.”
Hebrews 9:14: “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God…”
Hebrews 10:12: “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”

The redemption which He obtained for us is eternal. It doesn’t change with a few bumps and falls along the way. It is for all time. And this redemption was obtained to give us no need for our self-effort.God made provision for this sacrifice so that man would have no need for self-effort; trying to obtain anything on your own is what is called works.Works is trying to earn what Jesus has done for you, freely, in His finished works. All things are yours in Christ Jesus, and things include good grades, clothes, shoes, islands, money, jewellery, holiness etc. If you begin to try to work for these things, you will never get them, for it is evident that the just shall live by faith.
God made provision for a sacrifice so that there could be room for everyone to benefit. It is not God’s will that any perish. He didn’t ordain that we get or have anything by any effort of ours. We don’t have to work for anything that Jesus paid the price for. Trying to do so is trying to establish our own righteousness, and righteousness is a gift. Righteousness is not what can be worked for (Romans 5:17).

Now faith starts in the unseen realm, and it influences the realm of the seen. So when you’re speaking to situations and challenges, and they seem to stay the same, do not despair for they have begun to change already. Start rejoicing the day you start speaking, because that is when the change begins.

Faith cannot be separated from grace because it is only by our believing that we can enjoy the free gift of righteousness that comes from the sacrifice of Jesus.

Faith does not mean the lack of challenges or problems; faith means there’s solution to and victory for every problem. Faith sees a solution in every challenge of life. So don’t run from your challenges; face them and best them. Faith makes champions of us, and nobody becomes a champion without a fight. The Bible tells us to fight the good fight of faith. It is a fight to lay hold on eternal life, not a fight against the devil or against people. You fight with God’s Word against all that is contrary to it: your thoughts and sense evidence. You fight and stay fighting until you win; until you have taken hold of the promise. You don’t give up at one fail! You stay and fight until you have become champion over your circumstances!

We stay, and fight and we win because it is not by our effort, it is by the sacrifice of Jesus. We have received the free gift of righteousness and abundance of grace -that is why we reign in life!

Romans 5:17: “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Don’t let the devil keep feeding you negative thoughts. Speak your way out into victory. Faith is exercised through words. Speak God’s Word; let your faith lie in God’s Word and in what Jesus has done. Let the Word of God take precedence over your heart, then open your mouth and speak it. Soon enough, it’ll rise and swallow up whatever the circumstances are.
Stay with God’s Word. Have faith in the gospel. It gives strength to the weak, raises the dead to life and brings victory out of every situation. The gospel is a storyline of victories only. The gospel is based on the singular sacrifice of Jesus that happened to take away the sins of mankind. All your sins are forgiven, you are righteous; you are victorious!

: Why is your head hanging down? Why are you discouraged? Why do you say all hope is lost? Why do you say it is not working for me? Lift up your head, lift up your eyes, and see the Son of Righteousness. He’s arising with healing in His wings. He’s here to pick you up. They that wait on the Lord, they that look to Him, shall renew their strength. Though weak, they will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not grow weary; they will walk and will not faint. For the power of His grace has lifted them up out of the dunghill and set them among princes. This is the story, this is the answer: how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, how that He was buried and on the third day He was raised again from the dead for your justification and for my justification, according to the Scriptures. This is our victory! This is the story! This is the victory that overcomes the world: through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins, and they that believe in Him are justified from all things from which they could not be justified by the Law of Moses, for it is evident, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH…Faith in that sacrifice, faith in that grace, faith in Jesus, and Him crucified!

We are the righteous. We are not designed to function by the law. We are not designed to function by a system of merit, where we have to deserve everything. We are not designed to have to merit our spiritual status. It is evident…the just shall live by faith. We are not supposed to earn what He has given to us freely. We are not made to function by the law, or by effort, or by works. We are designed to function by grace and faith. We run life on these – knowing we are righteous, knowing we are forgiven- grace and faith. The consciousness of righteousness, of forgiveness and of God’s love will produce a life of holiness, righteousness, prosperity and victory! This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith! People do not need to be ordered to do more; they need to know what He has done for them. The gospel proclaimed and declared to men will bring them out of whatever has held them bound because the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes!
